Design & Engineering has grown into a full-service firm, producing millions of square feet of construction annually, focusing on industrial, commercial, and food processing buildings throughout Southern California.

MIKE OLIAIE
Mike R. Oliaie is President of O.C. Engineering and Chief Project Engineer for C.E.G. Construction and has been involved in the building industry for over 30 years. Mike received his Bachelors of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering in 1982 from California State University of Los Angeles. Mr. Oliaie is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California and is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California.
In 1982, Mr. Oliaie was employed by Coulson & Hoffman, Structural Engineers (formerly Ross Conners and Associates), which was one of the lead structural engineering and building design offices that specialized in tilt-up buildings in the 1960’s, 70’s, 80’s, and
early 90’s. During his 11-year tenure, he concentrated on commercial and industrial buildings with a primary focus on the tilt-up buildings. Starting as a Junior Project
Engineer, Mr. Oliaie worked his way up to Chief Project Engineer.
In 1993, Mr. Oliaie with a solid background in the building industry started MRO Engineering. In 1995, MRO Engineering teamed up with CEG Construction and O.C. Engineering & Design was established.
IGNACIO CRESPO
Ignacio was born and raised in Mexico City. In 1996 he earned his bachelor’s degree in Architecture from prestigious Jesuit Ibero American University, followed by a diploma in Urban Design and Development.
In 1999 he obtained his Architectural license to practice in Baja California, Mexico and was soon hired as Project Architect for the new football stadium for CETYS University in Tijuana, after completion of the project, he accepted a Facilities Director position in the University where he was responsible for developing the Master Plan, landscaping, facilities management, and ongoing construction.
In 2002 he completed his master’s degree in Corporate Finance and started his own development company: Proyectos de Calidad..
In 2007 he decided to move to the United States and accept a position at O.C. Engineering and CEG Construction. He is now responsible for architectural design and oversees the entitlement process, construction document preparation and coordination with all trades and agencies involved in the construction permit process. To date, he has collaborated on numerous projects in which his design quality and his ability to meet deadlines have given CEG a competitive edge.
